Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor at our Atlanta facility to lead daily production, ensuring staffing, equipment uptime, and on-schedule workloads for high-quality linen processing.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced industrial laundry setting, can give and receive feedback, and is willing to work flexible shifts to meet business needs while maintaining safety and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or a production environment.
• Experience with employee relations and team building.
• Ability to define performance measures and hold staff accountable.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to optimize staffing and production.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and data entry.
• Excellent communication in English and willingness to work evenings, night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise soil sorters, washer and cart-washer operators, and clean-side production associates to meet productivity targets.
• Schedule staff and assign daily work to ensure the workload is completed.
• Monitor CBWs, dryers, and washer/extractors to maximize loading efficiency.
• Collaborate with the chemical technician on wash chemistry and loading.
• Analyze order requirements to determine carts needed and align with customer demand.
• Communicate bottlenecks and production constraints to the Business Manager.
• Perform hands-on production tasks as needed to support the department.
• Develop and train operators to ensure consistent, high-quality performance.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
