Corbion, based in Totowa, NJ, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead hourly production staff and meet daily goals in a high-temperature, loud manufacturing environment. You will coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain to stay on schedule, uphold GMP/OSHA standards, and develop the workforce.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, and people development, with second/third shift and weekend shift expectations.

Formación

• 2+ years in a manufacturing supervisory role within the food industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; engineering degree preferred.
• Ability to motivate and instruct employees as well as administer discipline.
• Understanding of union rules, policies and ability to lead a union workforce.
• Food processing, GMP and OSHA knowledge.
• Knowledge of ERP and ADP systems.
• Willingness to work second or third shift with occasional weekend shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead hourly production staff to achieve daily goals.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain supervisors to keep production on schedule.
• Supervise all aspects of production and sanitation, supporting GMP and sanitation lists.
• Provide quality audit support and communicate QA needs.
• Assign personnel to specific jobs and develop defined goals for the plant workforce.
• Identify high-performance individuals and assist with succession planning.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and SOPs are adhered to.
• Supervise blender, kettle operators and packers.
