Source Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor in Peabody, MA to oversee daily production operations at a well-established consumer food manufacturing company. The role requires hands-on leadership to supervise and develop production staff while upholding top-quality standards, safety, and sanitation.

The position is full-time with benefits, bonus potential, health, 401K, and vacation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of direct supervisory experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in fresh or frozen food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food safety principles, HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and production safety standards.
• HACCP certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities; motivate, train, coach, and hold employees accountable.
• Ability to monitor product quality, production efficiency, and safety.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities; lead a production team to meet goals.
• Maintain high standards for product quality, safety, sanitation, and overall production performance.
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and development to production employees.
• Manage employee scheduling, monitor performance, and ensure targets are met.
• Ensure adequate supplies, materials, staffing to meet schedules and maximize productivity.
• Communicate with Sales and Operations to coordinate priorities and on-time delivery.
• Ensure GMPs, HACCP, OSHA, SOPs, SSOPs, and plant policies are followed.
• Maintain understanding of food safety principles and proper handling/processing.
• Monitor processes for opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, safety.
