Job summary

Prince Industries is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (4:30pm–1:00am, Mon–Fri) to plan, direct, and coordinate production activities. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting schedules and cost targets across multiple facilities.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (or related field) and at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership with scheduling, engineering, maintenance and quality control teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills to generate reports and input data.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Must be able to walk or sit for an 8–9 hour shift.
• Leadership experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Certifications or formal training are a plus.
• Safety training and active adherence to safety policy expected.
• 2nd shift hours are 4:30pm–1:00am, Monday–Friday.

The Production Supervisor plans, directs and coordinates the production activities to meet the production schedule. Directs all manufacturing operations for efficient and economical production at the lowest cost consistent with quality standards and delivery dates by performing the following job duties.

2nd Shift Hours: 4:30pm - 1:00am, Monday - Friday

• Ensures the safety of all team members through training, regular communication, and adherence to the company safety program.
• Understands and enforces all Prince Industries quality certifications.
• Directs and coordinates production activities with scheduling, engineering, maintenance and quality control to establish priorities and obtain optimum production output and resource utilization.
• Establishes production goals and ensures all plant operations run efficiently.
• Reviews and analyzes production and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformance with product specifications.
• Recommends, authorizes and promotes all required training programs necessary to production personnel for company and personal improvement.
• Maintains knowledge of and enforces all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
• Performs personnel tasks with the assistance of the Human Resources Department as needed, to effectively maintain departmental staff, such as:
  • conducting performance reviews
  • interviewing and training
  • addressing complaints
• Excellent computer skills to effectively generate reports and input required data.
• Excellent organizational skills are required to prioritize urgent matters and perform multiple tasks concurrently in order to complete work assignments.
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related manufacturing work environment preferred.
• Certification, formal training or continued education desired.
• Regularly required to walk or sit the duration of workday, 8-9 hours.
• Frequently required to perform repetitive hand movements when doing computer work.
