Job summary

Klauer Manufacturing Company in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to lead production and shipping/receiving teams. You will train, delegate and oversee assignments to maximize efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, problem solving, and strong communication to collaborate with supervisors and HR. You will help enforce policies, address performance issues, and drive continuous improvement on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Train, delegate and oversee the job assignments of production and shipping and receiving team members throughout their shift to maximize efficiency throughout the departments.
• Responsible for the enforcement of all company factory rules, policies, and all applicable safety requirements.
• Address team member performance issues and apply the Klauer progressive discipline process consistently with the support of Production Supervisor and Human Resources.
• Act with direction from supervisor to ensure production and shipping schedules are efficient and timely.
• Routinely walk production floor to assist with quality and safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
