Job summary

LeeBoy Inc., part of the FAYAT Group, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations at our Lincolnton, NC facility. You will ensure efficient production, high quality output, and compliance with safety standards while guiding front-line supervisors and teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, planning production activities, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and explain production schedules and work orders to determine product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
• Plan and prioritize production activities to meet customer requirements and business goals.
• Coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet customer requirements and business goals.
• Monitor production performance and analyze reports to identify issues, improve processes, and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing, and equipment related challenges to minimize downtime.
• Entering Engineering Changes (ECs) is mandatory.
• Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Ensure team adherence to production standards, quality expectations, and company policies.
• Partner with HR or leadership to address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements.

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily manufacturing operations within an assigned production department. This role ensures efficient production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards while driving continuous improvement and supporting team development. This position provides hand-on leadership either directly or through front-line supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and explain production schedules / goals and work orders to determine product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines.
• Plan and prioritize production activities to meet customer requirements and business goals.
• Coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet customer requirements and business goals.
• Monitor production performance and analyze reports to identify issues, improve processes, and reduce costs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing, and equipment related challenges to minimize down time.
• Entering Engineering Changes (ECs) is mandatory.
• Inspect equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and utilization. Able to product low DPU machines.
• Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Ensure team adherence to production standards, quality expectations, and company policies.
• Partner with HR or leadership to address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage production teams within the assigned department.
• Provide directions, coaching, and support to employees and/or front-line supervisors.
• Plan, assign, and oversee daily work activities to meet production targets.
• Applies job knowledge effectively and shares expertise with team members.
• Support employee training and development to build skills and capabilities.
• Address performance issues, recognize achievements, and foster accountability.
• Ensure all activities aligned with company policies and applicable laws.
• Add attendance log upkeep
• Machine operation upkeep
• Ensure Toolbox Talks are held and properly conducted

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Associate degree in a technical or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Mathematics: Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to follow instructions and resolve routine operational challenges.
• Computer Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency with business systems and software applications.
