Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support employees in fabrication and powder coat paint to promote teamwork, accountability, safety, and high performance.
  • Coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules, customer requirements, quality standards, and delivery expectations.
  • Assign work, monitor performance, provide direction, and ensure staff have training and resources to perform their jobs.
  • Promote and enforce safety policies while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards; investigate quality concerns and drive corrective actions.
  • Supervise fabrication processes and ensure adherence to procedures and production requirements.
  • Oversee powder coat and paint preparation to ensure proper part prep, finishing, quality, and flow.
  • Identify production issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement; develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency; engage employees.
  • Train, coach, and develop staff; identify cross-training and skill development opportunities.
  • Provide regular feedback, address attendance and performance concerns per policy.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and production demands while maintaining safety and quality.
  • Maintain clear communication with employees, management, production control, engineering, maintenance, quality, and other departments.
  • Coordinate with other supervisors and departments to maintain efficient workflow and minimize delays.
  • Complete production reports, employee documentation, timekeeping approvals, and other records accurately and on time.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $66,000-85,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Schedule:

  • Full-time position
  • Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–4:30 PM & Friday- 7:00-11:00AM
  • Additional hours as needed to support production requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and support employees in the fabrication and powder coat paint departments to promote teamwork, accountability, safety, and high performance.
  • Production Planning: Coordinate daily production activities to ensure schedules, customer requirements, quality standards, and delivery expectations are met.
  • Employee Supervision: Assign work, monitor performance, provide direction, and ensure employees have the training, resources, and support needed to perform their jobs successfully.
  • Safety Leadership: Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Quality Management: Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards. Investigate quality concerns and work with team members to implement corrective actions.
  • Fabrication Oversight: Supervise fabrication processes and ensure employees follow established procedures, work instructions, and production requirements.
  • Powder Coat Paint Oversight: Oversee powder coat and paint preparation processes to ensure proper part preparation, finishing, quality, and production flow.
  • Problem Solving: Identify production issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Work with employees and other departments to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and employee engagement.
  • Training & Development: Train, coach, and develop employees while identifying opportunities for cross-training and skill development.
  • Performance Management: Provide regular feedback, recognize positive performance, and address attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns in accordance with company policies.
  • Multi-Tasking & Prioritization: Effectively manage multiple priorities, production challenges, and employee needs while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and customer commitments.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with employees, management, production control, engineering, maintenance, quality, and other departments.
  • Department Coordination: Work closely with other supervisors and departments to maintain efficient workflow and minimize production delays.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Complete production reports, employee documentation, timekeeping approvals, and other required records accurately and on time.
Qualifications

  • Manufacturing Experience: Experience in fabrication, metal manufacturing, powder coating, painting, or related manufacturing processes preferred.
