Job summary

Mercury Systems in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead CHA/CHS floor activities, overseeing electro-mechanical assemblies and ensuring adherence to QMS and lean practices. The role supports NPI readiness and ongoing production, driving kaizen and maintaining a safe, compliant shop environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electronic manufacturing, 1+ year leadership, and proficiency with MS Office. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 8+ years in an electronic manufacturing/production role.
• 1+ year manufacturing leadership.
• Experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 registered QMS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electro-mechanical assembly and test operations while maintaining quality.
• Set objectives and tasks to meet production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with QMS procedures and processes.
• Maintain logs, paperwork, and forms per policy.
• Maintain shop inventory and floor stock.
• Drive continuous improvement (kaizen) to reduce waste and improve flow.
• Collaborate with QA and Engineering to improve production flow.
• Lead/internal audits and GEMBA walks.
