Job summary

Pilgrim’s East Plant is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily poultry production operations in Texas. You will supervise teams on the floor, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, coordinate manpower and schedules, and drive continuous improvement across departments.

The role emphasizes training, performance management, and strong communication. Candidates with poultry or food industry experience are preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Production Supervisor - East Plant 2nd Shift

In this key role, you'll serve as the frontline leader overseeing daily operations within our poultry production facility. You'll ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality assurance, and efficiency. Based primarily on the production floor, you'll coordinate team duties, monitor equipment and workflow, and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also requires agility to respond to operational issues in real time, helping maintain a productive and well-functioning workplace.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

What You’ll Need

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: 1 or more years of previous supervisory experience with leadership skills of 20+ employees preferred. Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making, must have basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
