Job summary

MCC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shift operations at our Elkton facility. You will manage safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards while guiding staff to meet company objectives.

The role operates on a 2-2-3 rotating day shift schedule and requires hands-on leadership to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate has Lean Manufacturing experience and 2–4 years of related work experience, with strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, methods, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Reports all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Supervises the departments on specified shift to ensure effective and efficient.
• Operation of equipment and availability of necessary resources.
• Oversees and trains associates on all departmental procedures, quality procedures and all related work instructions, safety training and company policies.
• Advises managers on personnel issues.
• Manages time collection functions. This includes processing and/or submitting all forms on a timely basis.
• Ensures compliance with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations (IE: ISO, GMA SAFE, HAACP) as applicable.

The Production Supervisor will manage and coordinate operations in the assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. Provide leadership and management to the staff on shift, guaranteeing the achievement of the company’s objectives and strategies. This position follows a 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days) on day shift.

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specificvision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
