Production Supervisor - Chiller Rehang 3rd Shift

GENERAL SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest productivity in a cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. The supervisor must meet all reporting requirements for their area of supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Train employees and foster an environment that maximizes quality and productivity performance.
2. Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to utilize resources effectively, maintaining safety, quality, and employee satisfaction standards.
3. Manage employee performance, providing positive and corrective feedback as needed.
4. Promote goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
5. Collaborate with other departments to investigate quality improvements, cost reductions, process improvements, yield control, and equipment maintenance, offering suggestions.
6. Ensure safety protocols are followed throughout the work area.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• One or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in the poultry or food industry is a plus.
• Leadership experience with 20 or more employees.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Availability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED; college degree in a related field is preferred.
