Michigan Seamless Tube is seeking a Production Supervisor for the afternoon shift. Standard hours are from 3 PM to 11 PM, with potential overtime compensated at straight time.

Summary:

Supervise all functions of the Cold Draw and Finish Departments, coordinating daily activities to ensure safety, production schedules, and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

1. Assign and supervise production activities in the Cold Draw and Finish Departments during the afternoon shift, ensuring safety and productivity.
2. Establish daily priorities and motivate employees to achieve goals safely and efficiently.
3. Maintain attendance records and generate various production reports.
4. Mediate first-step employee grievances as necessary.
5. Recommend process improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

This facility operates in a steel mill environment and is non-climate controlled. The position requires significant walking and plant floor presence.
