Job summary

Furst-McNess Company is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Lake City, FL facility. This full-time, 3rd shift position oversees nightly production activities 9pm–5am, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed, on-site at 688 NW Waldo Street.

You will lead frontline teams, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvements while ensuring production schedules and customer requirements are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification with company support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Supervise and provide direction to production employees during assigned shifts.
• Monitor production processes, product quality, and workflow to meet standards.
• Train and coach employees on safe practices, SOPs, and job duties.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Communicate priorities, schedule changes, and needs to staff and leadership.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and performance discussions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse to resolve issues.
• Complete production records and reports accurately and timely.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Perform production tasks and provide hands-on support as needed.
