Job summary

Brady Corporation, a global industrial technology leader, is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations, lead floor teams, and ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met on a daily basis.

The role emphasizes coordinating production schedules, expediting when needed, and maintaining ISO-compliant processes while managing resources and KPIs across the plant.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 5 years of equivalent supervisory experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment including 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google suite preferred.
• Previous Lean experience.
• SAP experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Change management experience.
• Inventory Management such as: Cycle Count, Material Movement Transactions and Delivery Routes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities of the plant, including schedules to support efficient production operations.
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters staffing to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Responsible for producing quality materials by following ISO practices, eliminate non-value added activity and is held accountable for compliance to specification and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Partners with other Production Specialists to ensure status of assigned projects, resolve problems affecting production schedules, effective utilization of resources, inventory assets and capital equipment resources.
• Plans workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Responsible for achieving key performance indicators.
• Collaborates with the other team members to understand the critical needs of the internal and external customers. Assumes major responsibility for SQDCC (safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash).
