PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR THIRD (3rd) SHIFT Essential Functions/Duties:

• Coordinate the People and Processes on the production floor to ensure safety, quality, and delivery meet requirements for Just-In-Time / Just-in-Sequence production environment.
• Manage daily production requirements to ensure on-time, in-sequence delivery to customers.
• Maintain ongoing communication with team members, safety, quality, production, and team building.
• Resolve production-related issues through problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Ensure employees work safely, wearing prescribed PPE, and are aware of risks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative regulations.
• Manage Time and Attendance systems.
• Conduct disciplinary investigations and reviews, focusing on corrective actions.
• Administer the Collective Agreement and Grievance procedures under the Human Resources Manager's guidance.
• Coordinate with Logistics to ensure 100% material accuracy.
• Work with Maintenance Supervisor to address PM programs and safety concerns.
• Perform LPA’s and resolve issues.
• Maintain low scrap and rework rates by focusing on root cause elimination.
• Follow division KPIs and implement strategies to meet divisional goals.
• Manage environmental responsibilities.
• Stop production for safety-related issues after notifying the plant manager.
• Take precautions to protect workers' health and safety.
• Conduct Kaizens and investigations for line defects.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, CSR, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Stop production for quality nonconformance issues after notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager.
• Support the launch of ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High school Diploma or GED.
• Post-secondary education in a related field.

Professional Training & Related Experience/Specialized Knowledge:

• Tier 1 knowledge is an asset.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Previous experience with DCX.
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of PLCs, shop floor systems, SAP, and PLC functionality are assets.
• Good organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including 8D methodology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, CSR, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 standards.
