Job summary

Crown in New Castle, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (2:00pm–12:20am, Mon–Thu). You will coordinate the machining work centers, organize and assign tasks, and lead employees to meet performance goals while enforcing safety and company policies.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, strong communication skills, SAP familiarity, and a commitment to Lean process improvements. This is a full‑time on‑site position with comprehensive benefits.

Job Duties

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-4 years related experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic computer skills.
• Per 8 or 10-hour shift. Sit up to 7 hours and stand up to 3 hours. Both typical and non-typical office environment (low to moderate noise level, low exposure to hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, and vibrations). Lift up to 10 pounds. Physical and mental demands are akin to the majority of office positions with prolonged periods of sitting and prolonged use of a computer/keyboard. Infrequent lifting, walking, and climbing stairs. Occasional use of office equipment (copiers, printers, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Specialized courses or training in supervisory and administrative subjects is desired.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Specialized courses or seminars in supervisory and administrative subjects. SAP knowledge.
