Wedlake is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a strong fabrication background to lead daily shop operations and ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met.

The ideal candidate has experience supervising teams in a fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment and a solid understanding of welding, fit-up, blueprint reading, and production workflows. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong shop floor presence, workforce accountability, and a commitment to meeting schedules and customer requirements.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment.
  • Experience leading production teams in a fabrication environment.
  • Strong understanding of welding, fitting, and metal fabrication processes.
  • Knowledge of MIG and Flux-Core welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing specifications.

  • Experience managing employee performance, attendance, accountability, and corrective action.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supervising welders, fitters, and fabrication personnel.
  • Experience in tank fabrication, pressure vessel manufacturing, structural steel, or similar heavy manufacturing environments.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the production facility during the shift.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to inspect work, operate a computer, and communicate effectively with employees.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, welding operations, noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures.
