Job summary

Wedlake is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our Tulsa manufacturing team on the 2nd shift. You will prepare metal surfaces, mix and apply paints, operate spray equipment, and inspect finished work to ensure quality and adherence to production schedules.

We offer a full-time role with a $1,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for overtime based on production needs. Applicants should have 3–5 years of industrial painting experience and pass standard

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of industrial painting experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, heavy industrial or similar production environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and finish quality.
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test and pulmonary evaluation.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

  • Mix and apply paints and coatings to specifications and production requirements.
  • Operate spray equipment for smooth, consistent finishes.

  • Follow all safety procedures, including respirator and PPE requirements.

Wedlake is seeking experienced Industrial Painters to join our growing manufacturing team on 2nd Shift. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality finishes on metal components and assemblies while supporting production schedules, safety standards, and customer expectations. Industrial painting experience is required. Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, heavy industrial, or similar production environments is highly valued.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and coating specifications.
  • Experience in structural steel, heavy fabrication, enclosure manufacturing, or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of dry film thickness (DFT) requirements and coating defect troubleshooting

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to work from ladders, platforms, and elevated work areas.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and around paint fumes, dust, and odors while wearing required PPE.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing paint shop environment.
  • Exposure to industrial equipment, material handling equipment, noise, and production activity.
  • Required use of safety glasses, respirators, hearing protection, and other PPE as needed.
