Who We Want
The Assembly Production Supervisor is the front line of leadership at the plant level. Their purpose is to oversee all operations within their area, ensuring that Safety, Quality, Delivery and production efficiencies meet the standards and expectation of internal and external customers. Our Supervisors are also morale builders and are responsible for creating a positive work environment for all employees.

What You'll Do

  • Manage processes with detailed accuracy, and discipline.
  • Coach and assist all employees with problem solving and personal issues.
  • Train team members on various processes, procedures, and job tasks within their work zone.
  • Certify team members on individual workstations to satisfy each level of progression on the skills matrix.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure on-time delivery according to customer demands and scheduling.
  • Pays close attention to detail in areas like Safety, Housekeeping, quality, performance, instructions given by management, and employee well-being.
  • Report incidents and investigate root causes for injuries, near misses, and equipment incidents.
  • Monitor employee attendance and discipline accordingly as per the employee handbook.
  • Monitor production quality and throughput, updating hour-by-hour boards and other systems.
  • Work with support groups to return processes to standard when abnormal conditions occur.
  • Manage operations considering attendance.
  • Direct team leaders, material handlers, operators, and support groups on daily tasks.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks to remind employees of safety and operational checks.
  • Follow company procedures for production identification, traceability, containment, inventory movements, and reporting.

When And Where

This will be a 2nd Shift / 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM M-F position located at our Plant in Spartanburg, SC.
Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to meet customer needs and deadlines.

What You Need To Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Automotive manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Steel toe boots and hard hats are required on site.
