About the Role

The TSUBAKI name is synonymous with excellence in quality, dependability, and customer service. U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is an international tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry.

The Production Supervisor directs and coordinates non-union personnel within various departments involving manufacturing and assembly of automotive parts, specifically timing chain system components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production employees, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are met.
• Create and monitor efficient material flow through manpower and equipment utilization.
• Implement continuous improvement plans for equipment and departmental processes.
• Manage departmental budget, aiming to reduce costs related to production and MRO supplies.
• Foster relationships with departments such as Planning, Engineering, and Quality.
• Maintain effective communication through toolbox meetings and employee meetings.
• Follow all company policies, work rules, and union contracts. Analyze and resolve work problems, maintain records, coordinate activities, ensure inventory accuracy, and make production and personnel decisions.
• Work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• 3+ years automotive manufacturing experience; 5-7 years supervisory experience, preferably in heat treating, metal finishing, or working with metals.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, and ISO procedures.
• Strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills.
