Job description

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead production in a manufacturing environment - 2nd shift.

• Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 / annually BOE
• Benefits: Medical, 9 Paid Holidays, PTO (Personal, Sick, Vacation), 401K, Voluntary Insurance Benefits (Vision, Dental, Life, Short- and Long-term, Accident & Hospital Insurance)
• Location: Hartford County

Responsibilities:

1. Continuously check in-process production parts using quality tools.
2. Actively pursue process and equipment changes to improve modifications, enhance production and quality, and reduce costs.
3. Maintain communication and coaching with employees daily to ensure they have what they need for production.
4. Work closely with other shift supervisors to ensure effective shift changes using communication tools.
5. Train direct reports on operating procedures, quality standards, environmental, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
6. Collaborate with the engineering department to make continuous improvements to eliminate waste.
