Job description

Worthington Enterprises is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the team that will direct the department to ensure production and quality standards are met. Key results in this role include but are not limited to controlling of costs, maintaining training records and performance evaluations, and maintaining of safety record for the department. The ideal candidate is an organized, analytical, problem-solver with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks. We are looking for individuals with a strong coaching mentality and passion to develop their team.

This position is for 2nd shift support.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and ensures team safety and productivity efficiency.
• Supervises employees including training, coaching and mentoring employees, updating records, writing and presenting employee evaluations, assisting in hiring for team, setting goals and tracking the progress of the department.
• Responsible for continuous improvement and cost control of the group including scrap and rework improvements, controls cost of manufacturing process.
• Prepare standard reports and metrics and presents at monthly meetings. Acts as a change agent.
• Task tracking, labor assignments, and OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) monitorization using L2L manufacturing software.
• Other duties as assigned.
