Job summary

Kane Partners LLC, a premier food manufacturing facility near New Oxford, PA, is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to direct daily operations and drive high-quality output.

You will lead and train staff, enforce GMPs, HACCP, and USDA standards, and collaborate with QA, inventory, and shipping to improve efficiency and safety. Candidates typically have 3–5 years in production and a high school diploma; a degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in production/manufacturing/operational environments (Food manufacturing preferred).
• Proven leadership experience supervising teams in a fast-paced setting. Union experience is a plus.
• Strong GMP/HACCP/USDA understanding and ability to enforce safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations on 2nd shift to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop production staff; enforce company policies and union guidelines as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, and OSHA standards in partnership with QA.
• Collaborate with Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping, and Sales to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Production & Efficiency: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily workflow, labor utilization, and schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals.
• Lead & Develop: Supervise, train, coach, and motivate production staff while administering company policies and collective bargaining agreement guidelines fairly.
• Champion Safety & Quality: Ensure strict compliance with food safety, GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, and OSHA standards in partnership with Quality Assurance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping, and Sales to streamline operations and support continuous improvement efforts.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3–5 years in production, manufacturing, or operational environments (Food manufacturing preferred).
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing, training, and directing teams in a fast-paced environment. Union experience is a plus.
• Industry Knowledge: High school diploma or equivalent (Degree in Operations, Food Science, or Business preferred). Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and USDA standards.
• Tech & Org Skills: Proficiency with MS Word/Excel, strong multi-tasking capabilities, and solid operational decision-making skills.
