Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Production Shift Lead to manage daily production activities and uphold safety and quality standards. You will direct workflow, staff, and associate performance within a fast-paced, on-site environment.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a focus on continuous improvement. Prior aerospace or bearing-related knowledge is a plus and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of prior leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams at all levels.
  • Certifications are a plus; aerospace experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Directs daily activities of the production team and enforces safety and quality standards.
  • Leads workflow to meet production schedules, output goals, and inventory targets.
  • Assists in staffing, training, and evaluating employees; enforces handbook policies.
  • Collaborates with quality to maintain product quality and drive corrective actions.
  • Performs productivity analysis and ERP transaction reviews for assigned area.
  • Runs production report-out meetings to support planning and scheduling.

Job description

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Directs the daily activities of the production team, ensures that safety is at the forefront of all decisions, quality processes, and standards. May lead team in the development of the new production developments. Provides hiring, promotion, and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.
Shift: M-F 3pm - 11pm, 1 weekend a month

Major Responsibilities
  • Associate Safety - responsible for area ownership of housekeeping, safety training, safety communication and employee compliance with all safety rules and practices.
  • Workflow - directs the efforts of assigned personnel to facilitate the orderly flow of products to meet output goals, throughput times and inventory levels established by the production schedule.
  • Work Assignments - Participates in the selection, training, and motivation of employees to ensure proper staffing and production levels of areas assigned. Make specific work assignments as required to meet production demands, maintain equipment utilization, quality levels, and efficient labor utilization.
  • Product Quality - works with the quality team to establish and maintain acceptable levels of product quality. Facilitates problem solving and corrective actions as required.
  • Associate Management - make periodic evaluation of all direct reports with feedback, complete coaching sessions as necessary, and deliver discipline by established handbook policies. Ensures that fair and consistent practices are followed in conjunction with the established plant guidelines and practices.
  • Productivity Reporting - Performs necessary analysis to ensure the accuracy and validity of all ERP transactions in assigned area.
  • Planning – Runs and maintains production report out meetings to support the implemented plans and schedules by the Supply Chain and Planning Team
  • Implement company policies and procedures in a consistent manner to ensure fairness to all employees.
Education / Experience / Skills
  • The minimum required education is a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Requires one year minimum of prior leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a cross-functional team at all levels.
  • Any applicable certifications will be a plus to this position.
  • Experience in the Aerospace industry is a plus.
  • General understanding and working knowledge of Bearings and special processes is a plus.
