Job summary

Award Staffing is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team in Maple Lake, MN on the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30PM-2AM) with required overtime. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time production, coaching staff, and driving process improvements.

You will collaborate with planning and leadership to meet daily production goals, train employees, and support hiring and performance development. This is a direct-hire, full-time position with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics or similar.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Read work instructions and blueprints; operate measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the manufacturing team to drive safety, quality, and on-time production.
• Coach and support employees, improve processes, meet daily goals.
• Schedule work, monitor productivity, reduce scrap and rework.
• Collaborate with planning and leadership to keep production running.

About the Opportunity

Job Title: Production Supervisor
Pay Rate Range: $65,000.00-$74,000.00/salary
Location: Maple Lake, MN
Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2AM with required overtime

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree is a plus).
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics or a similar production environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read work instructions and blueprints.
• Comfortable using basic measuring tools, hand tools, and computers.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, and dust.
