Operations Management Support
Live Oak, Florida

This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest level of productivity in a cost-efficient manner, while maintaining customer specifications. The role includes meeting all reporting requirements for the area of supervision. Must be willing to work 2nd shift!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Train employees and foster an environment that enables them to achieve maximum quality and productivity in their roles.
  2. Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to utilize departmental resources effectively and efficiently, adhering to safety, quality, and personnel satisfaction standards.
  3. Manage employee performance by providing positive and corrective feedback.
  4. Promote department and company goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, process improvement, yield control, and equipment maintenance, offering suggestions.
  6. Promote safety throughout the work area.
BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • One or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in the poultry or food industry is a plus.
  • Previous leadership experience managing 20 or more employees.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Availability to work assigned hours/days, including occasional weekends, as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED; college degree in a related field is preferred.
