Production Supervisor 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift (2pm-10pm) (10p-6a)
Norwalk, OH

Production Supervisor is responsible for the fulfillment of the production plan by adhering to safety, quality and customer requirements. The Production Supervisor coordinates and executes scheduling requirements by following standards and procedures and escalating issues as set forth in the standards and procedures.

  • Produce parts according to quality standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate and audit work activities to maintain adherence to production guidelines, work instructions and processes.
  • Develop, direct and manage the personnel engaged in manufacturing of customer products within the production work schedule to maintain product quality requirements and expectations set by the customer.
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non conformity relating to products, processes, and/or quality systems.
  • Identify risks and escalate contingency planning.
  • Effectively communicates with other members of the team, including subordinates, peers or managers.
  • Execution of production scheduling.
  • Follow escalation processes when deviations to the standard have occurred.
  • Ensure employees are participating and involved with following continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Administer employee reviews, discipline, promotions, verify time off balances before approving the request and other handbook administration as required.



Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 3 years of experience in employee management.
  • Must have SAP background. Production line knowledge. Supervisory experience.
  • Automotive Background required.
