Job Details

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor production staff to maintain top-tier performance in safety, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency
• Manage daily production schedules and communicate effectively about any shortages or changes
• Oversee equipment operations to ensure smooth production flow with minimal downtime
• Partner with maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and improvements that enhance line productivity
• Monitor compliance with safety standards, GMPs, and regulatory expectations, ensuring audit readiness at all times
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to uphold product standards and minimize rework
• Proactively address issues related to accuracy (e.g. packaging, codes, labeling) and enforce safety practices on the floor
• Set clear expectations for performance, provide feedback, and handle coaching or corrective actions as needed
  
  

What you need for this position

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production setting
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, production processes, and OSHA regulations
• Comfortable working in cold environments and operating production equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and general computer systems
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing (preferably food-related)
• Effective project and team management skills with the ability to lead from the front
• Spanish-English bilingual skills strongly preferred
