Job summary

ZF Group in Gray Court, SC, is seeking a Production Supervisor EJ for the second shift (15:00–23:00). You will lead and mentor team leaders and employees, ensure a safe, compliant workplace, and drive daily production activities with a focus on continuous improvement and lean principles.

Responsibilities include managing training, qualifications, and performance; approving timecards and attendance; and facilitating clear team communication to meet departmental goals and uphold ISO/IATF

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2–4+ years related experience.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; SAP is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and leadership abilities.
• Experience with manufacturing/operations and lean principles.
• Able to train others on production equipment.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.

• Facilitate team communication through meetings, feedback, and open‑door practices.

About the team: The team focuses on providing strong leadership to team leaders and employees, fostering a positive and results-driven work environment through coaching and mentoring. They serve as a key liaison between employees and the company, ensuring clear communication and a safe, issue-free workplace. By driving continuous improvement through waste reduction, problem-solving, and performance process enhancements, the team works to maintain and improve overall production efficiency. This position works second shift from 15:00 to 23:00 hrs.

Your profile as a Production Supervisor EJ (Second Shift:

• High School diploma or GED /2-4+ years of related experience
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (Excel) and knowledge, nice to have SAP management
• Problem solving skills /Proven leadership skills
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing/operations
• Ability to use (personally) and train individuals to use production/manufacturing equipment
• Basic knowledge of plant operations management and lean principles, processes, and techniques.
• Availability and flexibility schedule (e.g. weekends) to meet customer requirements.
