Job summary

Cornerstone Composites Inc. is hiring a Production Supervisor for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift in Milwaukee, WI. The role leads manufacturing teams, ensures safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and coordinates with cross-functional groups.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor staff across shifts. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; bilingual proficiency is not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing personnel, production safety, and all aspects of production.
• Strong oral and written communication; work with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain staffing levels and attendance for hourly employees.
• Complete performance evaluations and training logs.
• Conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
• Develop and promote continuous improvement projects within the shift and assist such efforts throughout the organization.
• Report and follow proper procedures for all plant accidents and ensure documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Visual inspections of production parts.

Production Supervisor – 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift

The Production Supervisor ensures the production of company products at the highest quality, meeting company performance standards, customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with the company policies, procedures, and EHS standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee manufacturing personnel, production safety, and all aspects of production.
• Successful candidates will be strong oral and written communicators who are mechanically inclined.
• Need experience in managing direct reports as well as working with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Maintain time and attendance for hourly employees.
• Complete performance evaluations.
• Maintain employee training logs.
• Conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
• Visual inspections of production parts.
• Ensure employees have proper training and follow up as needed.
• Develop and promote continuous improvement projects within the shift and assist such efforts throughout the organization.
• Report and follow proper procedures for all plant accidents and ensure all proper documentation is completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications (To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess most of the following):

• HiIgh School Diploma or GED
• Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Physical Qualifications

• 1st shift, production works 6am-2pm, 2nd shift, production works 2pm-10pm, and 3rd shift, works 10pm – 6am, Sunday – Thursday (Supervisor’s need to come into work 30 minutes before shift starts and stays 30 minutes after shift ends)
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work other shifts/weekends as necessary.
• Ability to inspect production parts for quality defects.
