The Judge Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for a facility in northern Indiana. You will supervise daily meat processing operations, lead a team on the floor, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on 12-hour, rotating days.

This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring on‑the‑floor engagement with staff and cross‑functional collaboration.

Formación

• Previous production supervisory or leadership experience.
• Meat processing or food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Knowledge of GMPs, sanitation, food safety, and HACCP principles preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a refrigerated food production environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and coordinate daily meat processing operations.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop production employees.
• Assign employees and resources to meet the daily production schedule.
• Monitor production output, labor, yield, waste, downtime, and efficiency.
• Ensure employees follow food safety, quality, GMP, sanitation, and company procedures.
• Maintain a strong focus on employee and workplace safety.
• Conduct shift start‑up meetings and communicate production priorities.
• Troubleshoot production problems and respond quickly to equipment or process issues.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Sanitation, Shipping, and other departments.
• Complete production paperwork and shift documentation accurately.
• Hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, safety, quality, and workplace expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient production environment.
• Communicate production issues and shift performance to management.

Description

One of our clients is currently seeking a production supervisor for their facility located in a rural part of northern Indiana. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the daily performance of the production floor, including safety, food safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and employee performance. We need a leader who is comfortable being on the floor, working directly with employees, solving problems, and keeping production on schedule.

Schedule

• Day Shift
• 2-2-3 rotating schedule
• 12-hour shifts
• Includes alternating weekends

Key Responsibilities
