We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our fast-paced food production team. This is a permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a thriving industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production line, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards while adhering to all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production flow and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with food manufacturing, packaging, and safety regulations, including GMP, SQF, BRC,
  
  

FSMA, GFSI, and HACCP.

• Lead and motivate a diverse team of production workers, fostering a positive and inclusive work
  
  

environment.

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure production efficiency and identify
  
  

areas for improvement.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that production schedules are met and that product quality is
  
  

maintained.

• Conduct regular training sessions to ensure that all team members are up-to-date on the latest production
  
  

techniques and safety protocols.

• Resolve any production issues that may arise and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed production records, ensuring that all documentation is completed in a
  
  

timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
• Extensive knowledge of food manufacturing and packaging regulations, including GMP, SQF, BRC, FSMA,
  
  

GFSI, and HACCP.

• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Experience in developing and monitoring KPI metrics.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
• High level of attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
