Job summary

Star Staffing is seeking a Production Supervisor for a night shift in California. This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and meeting production goals.

You will lead a production team, ensure SOPs and GMPs are followed, monitor efficiency and downtime, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. ESL/Spanish skills are required for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 5–7+ years of progressive production or manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Food, dairy, beverage, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred (if applicable).

Production Supervisor – Direct Hire Salary: $79,000–$92,000/year Schedule: 7:00 PM–3:30 AM Employment Type: Direct Hire Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a production shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role provides hands‑on leadership to production employees while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, staffing, and production goals are met.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily production activities and ensure schedules and production goals are met
• Supervise, coach, and support production employees
• Manage staffing, employee assignments, attendance, and schedule changes
• Monitor production, labor efficiency, waste, yield, and downtime
• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, and HR to resolve operational issues
• Ensure employees follow SOPs, GMPs, food safety, quality, and safety requirements
• Oversee production documentation and ensure records are accurate and completed on time
• Support employee training, onboarding, and performance management
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency
• Ensure effective communication and shift handoffs

What We’re Looking For

• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• 5–7+ years of progressive production or manufacturing experience
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced environment
• Food, dairy, beverage, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
