Job summary

Avalon International Aluminum is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production floor in Tualatin, Oregon. You will work directly with the Production Manager to carry out daily manufacturing tasks and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on shift.

This full-time role offers overtime opportunities and a path for advancement within a family-owned metal fabrication company. Your responsibilities include coordinating floor teams, maintaining equipment readiness, and upholding safety

Responsibilities

• Implement and execute production plans as directed by the Production Manager.
• Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate and delegate tasks to floor leads and employees, establishing goals and directing production activities.
• Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
• Ensure workers and equipment meet performance and safety requirements, and schedule maintenance as needed.
• Develop and implement workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
• Offer support on the production floor for questions, concerns, or feedback.
• Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications.
• Provide training to new production floor employees.
• Assist with moving or lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
• Other duties as assigned

Job Overview: As the Production Supervisor you will serve as the supervisor on the production floor during your shift. You will work directly with and carry out daily production responsibilities. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for advancement and overtime availability.
