Weekend Schedule- 12 Hour Shifts
The Production Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of an assigned production department, creating a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment while developing and supporting frontline team members. This role is responsible for achieving production goals, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, OSHA, FDA, and company SOP requirements.
Success in this role requires strong leadership, sound decision-making, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Mixing leads the production of Thorne's nutritional supplements by overseeing the accurate weighing, blending, and preparation of raw ingredients. Ensures product quality, equipment readiness, and adherence to strict manufacturing standards.
Sanitation oversees the cleaning and sanitization of production equipment and manufacturing areas to maintain a safe, compliant environment. Ensures sanitation procedures, documentation, chemical handling, and hygiene practices meet FDA, cGMP, and company standards.
Encapsulation leads the operation of encapsulation equipment that transforms blended formulations into finished capsules. Focuses on equipment performance, product quality, throughput, and compliance with manufacturing specifications.
Packaging oversees the packaging of finished products, ensuring supplements are accurately labeled, sealed, inspected, and prepared for distribution. Drives efficiency while maintaining quality, regulatory compliance, and on-time production.
