Job summary

CJ Schwan’s is hiring a 2nd shift Production Supervisor in Stilwell, OK. The role oversees production lines, packaging, and bakery operations to meet USDA requirements and company standards.

The position also includes hiring, coaching, and enforcing safety, quality, and performance measures. The candidate will manage performance, schedule adjustments, and collaboration with USDA on-site compliance, QA sign-offs, and cost control.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, with a 2-year degree or greater preferred.
• 4+ years of overall manufacturing experience, with 2+ years leading or guiding a group.
• 4+ years of related overall food experience with 2+ years of line lead/supervision.
• Intermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft Office. SAP experience is beneficial.
• Intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Advanced knowledge of Bakery/dough processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages employee performance and conducts performance appraisals; administers disciplinary actions up to termination.
• Responsible for safety, housekeeping, policy administration, employee relations, cost control, and problem-solving.
• Adjust daily work schedule as needed to meet production requirements.
• Coordinate with USDA on-site to meet state and federal food safety requirements.
• Review and sign off on Quality Assurance and HACCP documentation.
• Check product quality, usage, waste, counts and weights to ensure performance.

We are hiring a 2nd shift Production Supervisor (12:00 - 10:00 pm) in Stilwell, OK, home of our famous Mrs. Smith's and Edward's brand pies!

What You Will Do

• Directs production, packaging, and bakery on production lines to ensure company and USDA requirements are met
• Being responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified employees, following EEO and Ante… (mandate mandatory Admission) Standard obligations
• Manages employee performance and skills development conducts performance appraisals and administers disciplinary action, including employment terminations when necessary
• Responsible for safety, housekeeping, policy administration, employee relations, cost control, and problem‑solving
• Adjust daily work schedule as needed to meet production requirements.
• Works closely with USDA representative on site to ensure all company, state, and federal requirements for food safety are met
• Reviews and signs off on all Quality Assurance and HACCP documentation
• Checks product quality, usage, waste, product counts, and weights to assure performance and attainment.

What We Look For

• High School diploma, with a 2-year degree or greater preferred
• 4+ years of overall manufacturing experience, with 2+ years leading or guiding a group.
• 4+ years of related overall food experience with 2+ years of line lead/supervision.
• Intermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft Office. SAP experience is beneficial.
• Intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Advanced knowledge of Bakery/dough processes preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $99,000 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
