Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our client’s manufacturing team, overseeing evening operations to ensure optimal production efficiency and team performance. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a group of production associates, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the shift.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead, develop, and supervise production team members on the 2nd shift to ensure high performance, accountability, and adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Coordinate and manage daily operations, including resource allocation (labor, materials, machinery), scheduling, and production planning to meet output and quality targets.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts by implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, reviewing quality documents, and supporting company initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while tracking key metrics, managing overtime, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

What We Need From You

• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of production processes and industry standards.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including direct supervision of production teams (please include team size when submitting your resume).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with the capability to enforce policies, support cross-functional collaboration, and uphold quality and safety standards.
• Comfortable using an ERP system in real time - Can access and interpret data directly on the production floor (pulling metrics, confirming quantities, tracking team performance, ect)
• Familiarity with CNC equipment and related machining processes in a production environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Management, or a related field
