Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a Production Supervisor - Converting for a leading manufacturer of sustainable paper and packaging in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on day-to-day converting operations, safety, productivity, and quality, with emphasis on developing hourly staff.

You will lead production activities, coordinate with maintenance, quality and shipping, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement while managing staffing and schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or converting.
• Strong background in production operations and people leadership.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing; Six Sigma preferred.
• Proven problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred.

The Production Supervisor - Converting should have the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, corrugated, packaging, or converting environment.
• Strong background in production operations and employee leadership.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing; Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Proven problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Experience training and developing employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
