Description

The Medical Tubing Supervisor will oversee all aspects of the medical tubing operation during their shift, ensuring the production of high-quality medical tubing products. Responsibilities include managing a team of operators, packers, and material handlers, and collaborating with the quality team to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. This role is vital in ensuring the precision, quality, and consistency of manufacturing processes.

Key Functions

• Safety: Enforce safety policies and promote a safe work environment by setting an example and ensuring compliance.
• Team Management: Supervise and coordinate activities of staff including extrusion operators, packers, material handlers, and quality personnel.
• Quality Management: Ensure products meet quality standards and ISO 7 cleanroom protocols.
• Training: Provide training on procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Scheduling: Develop work schedules to ensure proper staffing and production flow.
• Problem Solving: Address issues related to equipment and quality during production.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of production activities.
• Compliance: Ensure operations adhere to regulations, GMP, and safety standards.
• Cleanroom Maintenance: Maintain a contamination-free environment following protocols.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory levels and shortages.
• Continuous Improvement: Seek process enhancements to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of leadership experience desired, preferably in cleanroom or medical device manufacturing.
