Job summary

Valmet in Owings Mills, MD, is seeking a Supply Center Production Supervisor to lead a production and distribution team responsible for delivering automation solutions. The role involves cross-functional leadership across production, warehousing, and logistics to meet delivery commitments and drive continuous improvement.

You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure safety and quality standards, and work with ERP systems to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

As the Supply Center Production Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of professionals and work cross functionally to deliver mission-critical automation solutions across industries like pulp & paper, energy, marine, and other process sectors – ensuring a great variety of products and applications that will present new challenges for every workday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive delivery performance, resource planning, capacity planning, and operational excellence across production, warehousing, logistics, and system test.
• Drive customer deliveries with high efficiency, meeting lead time and promise date requirements.
• Lead the development of your team and foster a culture of quality, safety, and customer focus.
• Supervise and monitor day-to-day production line operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality, HSE, and trade compliance standards are fully implemented while documented policies and procedures are followed.

• Deep understanding of supply chain, distribution, and manufacturing processes.

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• Minimum relevant experience: 4-5 years of supervisory experience.

• Inventory Management – accuracy, turnover, and working capital efficiency
• HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) targets

This role reports to the Manager, Owings Mills Supply Center and is part of the Automation Solutions Operations Team. The position is based in Owings Mills, MD, USA, with onsite attendance and limited travel required.
