Job summary

City Thrift is seeking a Production Supervisor who will partner with the Production Manager to direct the production team and ensure targets are met. You will help hire, train, coach, and motivate staff while addressing bottlenecks to keep operations smooth.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail production (preferably thrift or consumer retail), with strong communication and leadership skills and a commitment to safety and cleanliness on the floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two+ years in a retail production environment, preferably with a big box chain.
• Consumer retail or thrift business experience preferred.

Responsibilities

As Production Supervisor, you will partner with the Production Manager in providing direction and oversight to the production team members.

Responsibilities include:

• Communicate operating targets and progress against standards and expectations.
• Assist with hiring, training and coaching.
• Motivate the team regularly and ensure efficient operations by troubleshooting bottlenecks and working side by side with team members through the processes.
• Utilize all employees efficiently and effectively to achieve production quotas
• Rotate and cross train employees in order that they may be able to do several jobs as necessary
• Monitor performance through the use of employee attainment recordkeeping
• High energy level, strong leadership skills, independent thinker
• Maintain clean work environment

Education, Experience, Training Required:
