Job summary

KELTEC in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production. You will coach staff, manage schedules, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with 1–2 years in supervision, strong leadership and problem-solving, plus proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MRP systems. Core hours 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing, production, or industrial experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.

Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned manufacturing areas. This position provides leadership and direction to production employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while meeting production schedules and business objectives. The Production Supervisor serves as a hands‑on leader who promotes employee engagement, continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing, production, or industrial experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, or production planning systems.
• - Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus.
• Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.

Normal Working Hours and Conditions

Core business hours are generally 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; however, this position may require work outside normal business hours based on operational needs, production demands, training requirements, or business conditions.

Physical Requirements

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a manufacturing environment. Daily activities include standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and operating computer and office equipment.
