Job summary

Case Farms, Inc. is seeking a Production Shift Leader to guide all department personnel on the assigned shift, drive line efficiencies, monitor KPIs, and uphold safety and quality standards in a high-speed production environment.

You will supervise staff, coach them through adjustments, and ensure equipment is reliable, startup readiness, and ongoing adherence to SOPs, with a focus on developing team members and maintaining schedule pressures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 2+ years supervising production staff.
  • Basic computer and database application skills.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work within timelines and under pressure.
  • Ability to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and leadership to all department personnel on assigned shift.

  • Champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, problem-solving, and team building for the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

PREFERRED SKILLS:



  • Food Manufacturing experience.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand for long periods of time, walk, frequently lift material up to 50 pounds, with frequent twisting, turning, reaching, pushing and pulling use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; talk and hear.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • Work is normally performed in a sub-zero freezer/warehouse/production environment.

  • As part of the job requirements, the employee will be exposed to working in a warehouse setting with cold temperatures (-20 °C) at times.

  • Must be flexible with work schedule that supports a 24-hour production facility.
