Job summary

AESC US LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing activities in the Murfreesboro facility. You will lead a team to maintain production schedules, ensure quality products, and uphold a safe work environment while aligning with health, safety, and environmental policies.

You will report to a Production Manager and collaborate with a 21-person team to drive results, mentor staff, and improve processes in a highly automated plant designed for zero-carbon

Qualifications

  • Professional level manufacturing experience.
  • Background in supporting a highly technical manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and executes the daily activities required to achieve production requirements/schedule.
  • Anticipates problems and delays for production schedules and corrects through problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Controls labor and materials usage to meet or improve standard costs.
  • Temporary movement of personnel to meet production requirements.
  • Achieve Safety, Quality, Cost and Time (SQCT) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate and communicate with managers and peers on other shifts, to ensure standardization of manufacturing operations.
  • Interact and coordinate with maintenance and engineering to identify countermeasure issues with equipment, processes, or materials.
  • Generate weekly KPI report as needed.

About The Role

As a key member of AESC US LLC, the Production Supervisor plans, directs, coordinates, and controls manufacturing activities in assigned work area to achieve established goals. Supervises assigned team members to maintain production schedules with quality product and on time delivery while maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities include direction and training of employees, monitoring inventory levels and enforcement of health, safety, and environmental policies. You will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to lead in full-value-chain battery solutions for a sustainable future.

Your Team

You will be reporting directly to a Production Manager, who brings 20+ years of MFG experience in various roles at all levels. You will collaborate closely with your counterparts, each contributing their unique skills and expertise to our collective success. Currently, the team consists of 21 talented individuals, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and collaborate with your colleagues to drive impactful results. What You Will Do
