Job summary

PG&F Superabrasives in Montrose, Colorado, seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations and day-to-day production teams. This role drives safety, quality, and productivity while meeting customer requirements and production schedules.

You will serve as the first line of leadership within the facility. The role requires a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing leadership, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience managing employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, quality systems, OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

Salary Range: $78,792.00 To $82,938.00 Annually

PG&F Superabrasives is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations and production employees in our Montrose, Colorado facility. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and employee development while ensuring customer requirements and production schedules are achieved. The position serves as the first line of leadership within the manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations and production employees.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure goals are met safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Assign work, manage staffing needs, and support production planning.
• Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address attendance and performance concerns.
• Promote and enforce OSHA compliance, safety programs, and safe work practices.
• Partner with Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve operational and quality issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing leadership experience in a supervisor, lead, or team lead role.
• Experience managing employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, quality systems, and OSHA requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• Experience in industrial, machining, abrasives, or precision manufacturing environments.
