Responsibilities

• Schedule daily and weekly production assignments for the front line team.

• Ensure sanitation compliance within the production department.
• Assist Production Manager in developing the department operating budget.
• Apply lean manufacturing to drive continuous improvements in quality and productivity.
• Support and maintain Food Safety and Quality Programs and audits.

a key part of the Production department and team. This role leads front line employees toaccomplishproduction throughput and quality goals in a safe and cost-efficient manner. Our Production Supervisor also manages employee performance, develops employees, and administers a collective bargaining agreement.

salary: $75,000 - $88,000 per year

shift: Third

work hours: 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Responsible for scheduling daily and weekly production assignments for front line production team;leveragesand administers collective bargaining agreement to maximize output while minimizing labor costs
• Proactivelymonitorsand measures production department throughput and quality metricsdaily;responsible for coaching, counseling, and managing employees viatimelyfeedback and development
• Partners with Health & Safety function to advance production department safety programs and improve employee safety in the workplace
• Serve as the ‘face’ for employees on assigned shift; lead daily team huddles and monthly team meetings to drive team alignment, productivity, and safety
• Partner with sanitation function to drive compliance in production department sanitation.
• Assists Production Manager in developing department operatingbudget.
• Uses lean manufacturing processes to drive continuous process improvements in quality, productivity, sanitation, and safety
• Responsiblefor supporting and maintaining Food Safety and Quality Programs, along with proactively identifying and executing all continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation.
• Participates and supports all Quality and Safety audits and annual certifications, including internal audits and paperwork compliance.
