Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunities for career progression. Production Supervisors are:

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements.
2. Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts.
3. Drive to exceed personal, team, and company goals by holding self and team to high performance standards through servant leadership.
4. Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations
• Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners, and customers
• Highly committed to continuous improvement, applying innovative solutions with a customer-first mindset
• Create a culture of safety and implement workplace policies
• Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively
• Values different opinions and is open to ideas and perspectives from others
• Fully onsite
