Doherty Staffing Solutions in Le Center, MN is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a fast-paced team on the production floor. This direct-hire role focuses on safety, quality, and meeting production goals while supporting hourly employees and plant management.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to train teams on SOPs, GMPs, and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support production employees and act as liaison between hourly workers and management.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate daily production activities and resolve scheduling/equipment issues.
• Conduct team huddles and train on SOPs, GMPs, and food safety requirements.
• Monitor production performance and participate in quality audits.

What You'll Do:

• Lead, coach, and support production employees while serving as a liaison between hourly associates and plant management
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and waste reduction initiatives while ensuring adherence to company standards
• Coordinate daily production activities, resolve scheduling and equipment issues, and prioritize workflow to meet production goals
• Conduct team huddles, communicate production objectives, and provide training on SOPs, GMPs, and food safety requirements
• Monitor production performance, participate in quality audits, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency

What You Need to Bring:

• High school diploma required; technical, engineering, or related education is a plus
• At least 1 year of manufacturing or food manufacturing experience
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent leadership experience as a team lead
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed; bilingual Spanish is a strong plus
