Job summary

Arc Thrift Stores in Lakewood, CO seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee the production operation across departments and help meet store sales plan. You’ll direct presorter, separators, hangers, and other staff, with responsibility in the manager's absence.

Position DescriptionJob Title Production SupervisorNov-24FLSA Status – ExemptSummaryManages the production operation and assigned departments to achieve store sales plan. Manages the store in absence of the store manager and assistant manager for up to two weeks. Provides direction to presorter, separators, hangers, utility person, bailer, and assigned department personnel. Reports directly to the Store Manager.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAchieves maximum sales performance in assigned departments by ensuring:Proper quantity of saleable goods in assigned departments.Merchandise is values priced.All signs are correct in assigned departments.Old tags are ragged properly.Trash is properly disposed of.When an employee is absent or if a position is vacant, the production supervisor ensures assigning another employee to the duties or completing them herself/himself completes the duties of the absent employee.Implements all aspects of the customer service program.Daily reports on performance of the production crew; suggests wage changes, disciplinary action, and terminations to the store manager.Provides training by answering questions, giving directions, and offering feedback about task performance to employees and community service workers.
