Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL, Lake Wales, FL, is seeking a Supervisory role to oversee daily warehouse and production activities, coordinating scheduling and labor utilization. You will lead, train, and develop a team while ensuring quality, productivity, and customer service standards.

The position emphasizes safety, process improvements, and collaboration with plant leadership to align priorities and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, or related environment
• Proven experience leading teams, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with production scheduling, inventory, and operational planning preferred
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred; Sage a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
• Forklift certification or experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and production activities, including scheduling and labor utilization

• Assign work, set expectations, ensure quality, productivity, and customer service standards
• Enforce safety policies and housekeeping; promote a safe work culture
• Monitor staffing, attendance, time management; control labor costs and overtime
• Identify process improvements; standardize procedures to boost efficiency
• Collaborate with manufacturing and plant leadership to align priorities
• Track and report production performance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, 5S-focused work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
